Route 2 is the only licensed café bar in Topsham. We’re not a pub, but Route 2 is the place to come to enjoy a civilised drink or two, with or without meals. We can offer you a good selection of wines from as close as Pebblebed Vineyard, just a couple of miles down the road (source of award winning rosé, white and sparkling wines), or from the other side of the world. We work closely with Vino, who import quality Italian wines from small producers, and we are especially proud to offer the wines of our good friend Mario of Cascina Fontana, wonderful, genuine red Barbera and light, slightly sweet Moscato.

We also have a small and good selection of local beers – Doom Bar, Otter, and other guest beers – as well as outstanding local cider such as Heron Valley, Green Valley and Devon Cider, plus Devon juices, Fair Trade smoothies and much more.

We’d like to think that our tea and coffee is the best in town. We source from DJ Miles of Porlock, Somerset, a family firm that still roasts daily to result in selected coffee beans that give fantastic flavour and aroma. For tea, we use loose leaf teas and infusers to result in a really superior ‘cuppa’.
